I began accompanying musical shows at Kirby in 2005 (Baker's Wife). I have been involved in this role with many different societies, as well as with several choirs and churches (as organist), since doing Wizard of Oz in Shropshire in 1970.

I've been an amateur actor for 20 years, although I have played many roles, most will remember me for my portrayal of the panto dames.

I've been with The KMPs for six years, my first part was in Oliver playing Mr Brownlow (Oliver’s uncle). My first lead role was in a comedy play called Crazy Capers Dodgy Deal, where it was my first experience of wearing women’s clothes. I have been co-opted on the committee as the players' safeguarding champion.

I've only been involved in amateur dramatics for a short time but have to say it is absolutely brilliant, the members at Kirby are amazing. I'm hoping I'll get the chance to play
Ko-Ko in The Mikado someday.

I take part in a few shows each year and I've loved every one. Favourite roles so far have been Eddie in 'A Slice of Saturday Night' and Gaston in 'Beauty & the Beast'. I look forward to being in many future productions.

I appeared on stage for the very first time in Goldilocks & the Three Bears (Jan 2013). I enjoyed everything from the performance to meeting some great people.
